BIOCOLLAGEN
Biocollagen, highly purified atelocollagen effectively restores various damaged tissue and works for tissue scaffolding. Its structure is twisted into a triple helix. It is the most abundant protein in the human body, found extensively in connective tissue and bone.
BIOCOLLAGEN SPECIFICATION
- Acid-soluble type I atelocollagen (telopeptide-free collagen)
- High biocompatibility : immune-free collagen for human body implants
- Low endotoxin (Least pyrogen)
- Source : Porcine – skin
- Solvent : Water (Hydrochloric acid, water-insoluble in neutral pH) and 10% glycerin
- Preservative : 0.1% Methylparaben
- Usage levels : 2.0% (w/w) or less

Theraform ™ an Absorbable BioCollagen Membrane is a sterile, pliable surgical porous scaffold agent made of highly purified type I atelocollagen derived from porcine skin, which is applied directly on wound to help tissue regeneration.
